Recession Hitting Hard

Everyone, in some way, has been hit by this tough recession; lost a job, lost money in the market, lost a home and so on. I myself have been looking for a job for quite a long time - with no success. This issue has been pushing me to make a decision whether my girlfriend and I should keep struggling over here or just go back to our home country, Israel.
This is probably one of the hardest personal decision I need to make this decade. We both love living here, but this has just been a very rough year for the both of us and it doesn't seem to be getting any better.
Is it possible to leave this wonderful city?
The decision has yet to be made and it wont be an easy one.

  1. I know at times it may seem hard but you are getting a great education that you can use to inspire others. New York City is a great place for new beginnings, I think that the recession will separate the strong from the weak, and trying to better yourself can only be positive.

  2. I agree what Siobhan said that New York City is a great place for new beginning. New York City is also a place with many opportunities. Even though we are facing a recession right now, but in the long run the economy will come back up. If you can stay and work hard during this time of period, then once the economy goes back on the track, that will be your harvest time. Good Luck!!
